WHO WANTS TO DO SOME WORK!
What is work? Everyone knows what work is right?  Well not this kind of work.  Work is done when a force causes an object to move in the same direction of that force.  There are different types of work and even a way to measure it.  Effort is when you can be doing so much and trying so hard to do something but you still might not always be doing work.  You can be putting effort into moving boxes from place to place.  However once you started moving forward with the box the force was still moving up and the motion was going forward.  Remember about what newtons measure in, well work also measure in Joules.

To understand how to find out if your doing work is to use the formula- W=FD which is work= force times the distance. When you find your answer you have found out what the Joule(s) of that object is. Well what's a Joule you ask?  A Joule measures how much work you have done.  If I were to push a box in a direction, then that would be work because I'm the force pushing on that box and were going in the same direction.(or positive work)  If I was pushing the box and using force and the box wasn't moving then you would not be doing work.(or negative work)  For you to be doing work you and the box has to be moving in the same direction.  Thanks for reading, now I've got my own work to do.
